The Canterbury district is being blighted by graffiti. It’s time to do something about it.
The Liberal Democrats are lobbying the council to take action by issuing rewards for information leading to a prosecution.
Westgate councillor Michael Dixey said: “some graffiti can be considered art, but much of it is mindless tagging.
“Local residents are fed up with having their walls and fences spray painted by mindless vandals who care nothing for other people’s property.
“The graffiti problem is getting worse. It’s only the Lib Dems who seem to be taking it seriously.”
